- Payments are made upfront using our secure website booking system and we offer a no refunds policy.
- Wheelhouse Pods reserve the right to cancel bookings in the event of severe weather conditions.
- We cannot cancel bookings due to poor weather or poor weather forecasts (unless we deem them too extreme for safe camping).
- At busy periods you may be allocated a different pod to the one you selected when booking, though we will always endeavour to give you the pod you have selected.
- You will be sent an email the night prior or the morning of your booking with a 4 digit code to retrieve your key upon arrival which will also include your pod number (1-9). The lockbox will be located at the front of your requested or allocated pod.
- Check in is 4:00pm and check out is 11.00am – we request that these times are adhered to in order to allow staff time to prepare pods for other guests.
- We operate a quiet policy between the hours of 10pm and 9am and request that noise levels are kept to a minimum by all guests between these hours. This is for the comfort of all guests and our surrounding neighbours.
- No rubbish to be left inside the pods – please use bins provided. No litter to be left anywhere else on site.
- No smoking inside pods or buildings. All cigarette butts to be disposed of responsibly.
- Any accidental damage/ spillages to be reported (replacement fee/ cleaning fee may be applied). The customer undertakes to pay all reasonable costs incurred in making good any breakages or damage to Wheelhouse Pods directly or indirectly from the behaviour or conduct of the guest or the guest’s visitors. We reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s debit / credit card in case of damages.
- No additional guests allowed on site without prior arrangement with the owner and maximum occupancy per pods must always be observed.
- Pets are not allowed and we are sorry but we cannot make exceptions to this rule.
- Alcohol may be consumed on site but drunken or rowdy behaviour is not acceptable. Please be respectful of other guests and owners who live on site.
- Buildings and pods will be cleaned and maintained by staff but we ask that guests tidy up after themselves at all times. We do not clean pods during your stay unless you specifically ask us to do so.
- Staff are available during office hours (9am until 5pm) on the telephone number displayed in your welcome handout. Outside of office hours please contact staff only in a genuine emergency. Emergency numbers are displayed at the front of the office building.
- Please report any problems that you find at the earliest possible opportunity to allow staff to address the issue.
- Guests accept that staff may check the condition of pod at the point of check out. Staff will not enter your pod during your stay unless invited to do so or in the case of a safety concern.
- Guests are expected to behave with respect for other guests, staff and the environment at all times.
- Wheelhouse Pods cannot be held responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen personal property. Our pods have lockable front doors and we also provide key locks with codes specified to you only.
- If any of the above terms and conditions are broken; guests will first be reminded of their responsibilities and if necessary will be requested to leave the site.
- All terms and conditions are for the comfort and safety of all guests. We aim to make all of our policies fair and transparent.
